Compliance status
This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard due to the non-compliances listed below.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reasons.
Non-compliance with the accessibility regulations
- The ‘feedback’ link doesn’t receive focus because it doesn’t include a href attribute. This means that users of assistive technology may be unable to navigate to or activate the ‘Feedback’ link independently.
- The multiple generic ‘Edit’ and ‘Delete’ links present in certain tables are not descriptive enough for users to identify their relationship with associated elements or differentiate between them.
- The pagination links are not descriptive enough for screen reader users to identify the links destination or purpose. As the links are not programmatically associated with the information that provides the context needed for screen reader users to identify the links destination or purpose.
- Form fields such as ‘Definition’ and ‘Guidance links’ appear to be optional as error messages are not displayed adjacent to those fields when the form is submitted without inputting data.
- The links related to ‘Completing the survey’ are defined by aria-label attributes values that do not reflect the destination or purpose defined by the link text.
- The ‘Task list’ presents users with a list which is introduced by two level-two headings, ‘Category’ and ‘Business unit rating’ which may be perceived as a table of two columns. However; the structure and relationship of this information may not be identified by some users who cannot perceive the visual presentation of elements displayed.
- Users may be unable to identify the function or purpose of the empty details components displayed in the definition list present on the ‘1.1 Dummy Category 1 task list’ page.
- When viewing the desktop presentation of the page; if an option is selected from the ‘Search business unit’ custom select field, the option is removed from the list and displayed below the form controls, under the level-three heading, ‘Assigned business units’.
What we're doing to improve accessibility
We have identified the non-compliances and will address them in priority order.
